<h2>&#8216;CORRECT WAY OF COOKING NOODLES&#8217;</h2>
<p>The correct way to cook instant noodles without harming our bodies and health. `Normally, how we cook the instant noodles is to put the noodles into a pot with water, throw in the powder and let it cook for around 3 minutes and then it&#8217;s ready to eat.</p>
<p>This is the WRONG method of cooking the instant noodles.</p>
<p>By doing this, when we actually boil the ingredients in the powder, normally with MSG, it will change the molecular structures of the MSG<br />
causing it to be toxic.</p>
<p>The other thing that you may or may not realize is that, the noodles are coated with wax and it will take around 4 to 5 days for the body to excrete the wax after you have taken the noodles.</p>
<h2>CORRECT METHOD :</h2>
<p>1. boil the noodles in a pot with water.<br />
2. once the noodles is cooked, take out the noodles, and throw away the water which contains wax.<br />
3. boil another pot of water till boiling and put the noodles into the hot boiling water and then shut the fire.<br />
4. only at this stage when the fire is off, and while the water is very hot, put the ingredient with the powder into the water, to make noodle soup.<br />
5. however, if you need dry noodles, take out the noodles and add the ingredient with the powder and toss it to get dry noodles.</p>
<h2>Dietician&#8217;s Note:</h2>
<p>If you buy plain hakka noodles which you make initially need to boil in water and discard the water. This will soften the noodles but to prevent it from sticking we need to add a tbsp of oil and also the noodles are deep fried partially to make it crunchy and then dusted with flour to prevent it from sticking while boiling. Hence when you buy the noodles they are already made unhealthy and this is the type we use to make stir fry noodles and the regular maggi too is made the same way plus they add MSG/ ajinomoto and other chemical preservatives.</p>

<p>Although there are many benefits of eating persimmon, there are a few points that we must be, beware of: </p>
<h2>1. Persimmons Cannot Be Eaten On An Empty Stomach.</h2>
<p>It contains more tannin and pectin and in an empty stomach, under the effect of gastric acid, lumps of various sizes will form. If these lumps cannot reach the pyloric intestine, it will become gastric persimmon stone in the stomach. The stone originally is as small as apricots and persimmon seeds, but will bigger. If not naturally expelled from the stomach, it will cause diospyrobezoar the digestive tract obstruction, resulting in upper abdominal pain, vomiting, and even vomiting blood and other symptoms. During surgery, persimmon stone as big as a fist was found in the stomach. If there&#8217;s food in the stomach then the persimmon stone formation in the stomach can be avoided . </p>
<h2>2. Persimmon Skin Should Not Be Eaten</h2>
<p>Some people feel that eating persimmon fruit together with the skin taste better than just eating the flesh by itself. Scientifically this is not advisable because the vast majority of persimmon tannin is concentrated in the skin. If eaten toegether with its skin the formation of gastric persimmon stone is easier, especially when the astringent process is incomplete, as its skin contains more tannic acid. </p>
<h2>3. Do not eat pesimmon together with high-protein crabs, fish, shrimp and other foods</h2>
<p>In Chinese medicine, crab and persimmon are considered &#8220;cold foods&#8221;, therefore they cannot be eaten together. From the perspective of modern medicine, crab, fish and shrimp contains high level of protein and thus under the effect of the tannic acid, it is easy to solidify into blocks, namely, stomach persimmon stone. </p>
<h2>4. Diabetics Should Not Eat Persimmon </h2>
<p>Persimmon has 10.8% sugars content and mostly are simple pairs of sugar and simple sugars (sucrose, fructose, glucose is such), which can be easily absorbed by our body after eating which may result in hyperglycemia. For diabetic people, especially those with poor glycemic control, it is even more harmful. </p>
<h2>5. Enough is enough</h2>
<p>The tannic acid in persimmon together with dietary calcium, zinc, magnesium, iron and other minerals form compounds that cannot be absorbed by the body so that these nutrients cannot be used and therefore eating persimmons can easily lead to a lack of these minerals. And because there is more sugar in persimmon, eating the same amount of pesimmon compared to apples or pears will make one feel full faster hence will affect one&#8217;s appetite and reduce the intake of meals. Generally, with an empty stomach, it is advisable not to take more than 200 grams of persimmon. </p>
<h2>6. Mouthwash after eating</h2>
<p>Persimmon is high in sugar and contains pectin. After eating persimmon there will be some of the fruits remaining in the mouth, especially in between the teeth. With the acidic properties of the high tannic acid it is easy to cause tooth decay, the formation of dental caries. Therefore after eating persimmons it is advisable to drink some water or to rinse our mouths. </p>

<p>1. Sweet potato is more filling and suppresses hunger pangs longer. It is also cheaper than rice.</p>
<p>2. Unlike rice, it is easy to grow. It grows in backyards with or without fertilizers. Local government executives can provide their poor communities with idle government land for planting kamote which<br />
the entire community can share.</p>
<p>3. Unlike rice which needs to be eaten with a dish, Sweet Potato<br />
tastes good and can be eaten by itself. Thus, substituting rice with<br />
sweet potato saves money for other needs.</p>
<p>4. Rice cannot match the nutritional values of potato. Because rice<br />
converts to sugar in the body, the Philippines registers as a top<br />
producer of diabetics in the world.The poor tends to load up on rice<br />
and less on the dish which are more expensive. That makes them<br />
vulnerable to diabetes, an ailment known in developed countries as a<br />
rich man’s disease.</p>
<p>5. The nutritional values of a 3 oz. baked sweet potato are: calories 90, fat 0 g, saturated fat 0 g, cholesterol 0 mg, carbohydrate 21 g, protein 2 g, dietary fiber 3 g, sodium 36 mg, vitamin A 19,218 IU, folic acid 6 micrograms, pantothenic acid 1 mg, vitamin B6 <1 mg, vitamin C 20 mg, vitamin E 1 mg, calcium 38 mg, manganese 1 mg, carotenoids 11,552 mcg, potassium 475 mg and magnesium 45 mg. </p>
<p>Compare that to a 100 g serving of white rice with: calories 361 kcal, water 10.2 g, total fat 0.8 g, dietary fiber 0.6 g, calcium 8 mg, phosphorous 87 mg, potassium 111 mg, sodium 31 mg, vitamin B1 0.07 mg, vitamin B2 0.02 mg, niacin 1.8 g, protein 6 g and carbohydrates 82 g.</p>
<p>6. Too much rice consumption can make you sick, but sweet potato (kamote) can bring you to health and keep away some health problems. These have been proved medically. In a medical documentary I watched recently on KBS World (the South Korean TV Network), I was awed by the results of the research the Koreans conducted on the nutritional and medicinal benefits of kamote (which they refer to as sweet potato).</p>

His family members with high uric acid were also healed by the same papaya tea. For this Mr Liu planted a lot of papaya to share with relatives and friends with similar sickness.</p>
<p>According to Mr Liu, in selection of the Green Papaya as tea pot, pick those whose shape are fat and short, with larger capacity. Cut off the top part of the papaya, clear away the seeds, open a small hole at the upper side wall to facilitate pouring of tea. Create a small ventilation hole at top cover, put in the tea leaves,  pour in boiling water, place the top cover back to papaya, you may use the toothpicks to secure the top cover. <p>Liu like to use Oolong tea as the taste is good. He was pleasantly surprised that the stomach pains he suffered for many years was healed after a month of drinking tea from the green papaya pot, without taking any other medication. He passed some green papaya leaves to a friend who worked at a Medical Center to test and analyse the content. The tests confirmed that the healthy enzyme present in papaya is beneficial to human health. Now as papaya in Mr Liu&#8217;s orchard is yeilding suitable size fruit, he would share the fruits with family and friends. </p>
<p>Xu Fuchang, an experienced papaya farmers, the green papaya refers to papaya that is not ripe, where the skin is still green in colour. Generally, the papaya takes about four months to fully mature and ripe, but then healing effect would be lost after it is fully ripe. Green Papaya should be harvested when the papaya is approximately three months old, when the fruit is still firm, and the  &#8220;papaya milk&#8221; contains high papaya enzyme (papain) and other healthy ingredients. Not only the green papaya can be used in tea drinking, you may also cut them into cubes, and boil with the ribs, or even slicing the green papaya into fine long pieces and fried with garlic, very tasty, and no adverse effects on the human body.</p>
